Phil Tuttle

Camp Director/Lead Coach

Tuttle knows about winning. As a soccer standout at Notre Dame, he helped lead his team to two regular season Big East Conference championships and three NCAA tournament appearances.

After graduating from Notre Dame with a business degree, he went on to play professional soccer and was drafted 33rd overall in the 2011 MLS Supplemental Draft by the San Jose Earthquakes. After a short stint with the Earthquakes, he signed with the USL’s Harrisburg City Islanders (PA) in April 2011. In 2012 he was given the opportunity to join the MLS’s New York Redbulls for the preseason, but was kept on the sideline after tearing his ACL. After recovering from the injury, Tuttle joined the Wilmington Hammerheads (NC) as the starting goalkeeper for 2013.

In 2012, Tuttle accepted an assistant coaching position with Southern New Hampshire University. In his three seasons with the Penmen, he has helped them achieve three Northeast-10 Conference tournament titles, two regular season Northeast-10 Conference titles and the 2013 NCAA Division II National Championship.

After growing up in a Christian environment, Tuttle fully surrendered his life to Christ as a senior at Notre Dame. As a coach at SNHU, he helped establish an FCA Huddle on campus and hopes to facilitate more Huddle development in the state during his time with FCA.

Outside of FCA, Tuttle also serves as the field representative with Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in New Hampshire. He is an assistant pastor at Grace Capital Church. And is still involved in coaching at Concord Christian Academy with the boy’s varsity soccer team. Now a resident of Concord, N.H., he enjoys spending time with his family, which include his wife Kaylin and his recently born daughter.
