Coach’s Perspective

Local High School Coach

“I began coaching because I love kids and want to see them improve not only on the field but also in life. This is what FCA is all about…helping athletes and coaches grow in sport and in faith.”

Parent’s Perspective

Parent of Past Camper

“FCA has provided an athletic environment for my son to feel included and to experience joy in sport. I am grateful for my son’s involvement and hope other families take advantage of this great experience in our community…”

Running Focus

Through stations and small group work, our coaching staff will concentrate on a detailed progression of drills with the goal of improving each runner’s skills. Additionally, staff will provide campers with strategies that can be implemented for ongoing skill improvement no matter what experience level. Every athlete will be provided the opportunity to explore or grow in their Christian faith. Living Water FCA Running Camp is for athletes who want to reach their potential through comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training.

Faith Focus

Every athlete will be provided the opportunity to explore or grow in their Christian faith. Our camp guest speakers and small group Bible studies will focus on humility, truth and faith.

Our History

Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has challenged athletes and coaches to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Camps are a time of “inspiration and perspiration” for athletes and coaches who want to reach their potential through comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training.

Camp Theme

Strong: Fight. Finish. Faith.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.” 2 Timothy 4:7

Athletes are conditioned to be strong both physically and mentally. The measure of great athletes shows how much faster, stronger and smarter they are than the opponent. But as Christian competitors, we have the game-changing advantage of being spiritually strong.

We serve a strong God, and we are called to be like Him in every area of our lives. God calls us to be solid in our faith, to fight the good fight with perseverance, and surround ourselves with a firm support system in order to finish strong. With Jesus Christ and His Word transforming us daily, we can be strong 24/7!
