“My camp experience was great. I got to meet with new friends, got closer to the Lord. One thing I really liked about camp was the coaches. They would motivate us when we were tired and teach us about Jesus. I also recommend any teenager, even if you haven’t given your life to Jesus, to go to the FCA camp. It’s a great experience.”
During the course of the week, the coaches will be teaching pitching, catching, fielding, and hitting, with an emphasis on fundamentals. Campers will be able to tap into the knowledge of the coaches and assistant coaches, and instruction will take place in a friendly atmosphere. Come with a desire and willingness to improve your skills. Being willing is the beginning of improvement.
“One” 2017 Camp Theme
Each year we incorporate a theme on and off the field during camp. This year our theme is “ONE” based on Philippians 1:27.
“Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News”.
Every athlete will be provided the opportunity to explore or grow in their Christian faith. Our camp guest speakers and small group Bible studies will focus on humility, truth and faith.
Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has challenged athletes and coaches to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Camps are a time of “inspiration and perspiration” for athletes and coaches who want to reach their potential through comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training.
Includes: FCA T-shirt, FCA Bible, high-level softball instruction, and a chance to grow as a person.
