Camp Speaker and Musician

Marvin Mumford

Worship will be led by Marvin Mumford, FCA’s 2014 National Worship Leader of the Year. Mumford’s style of mixing worship and Gospel music together to create what he calls “The Kingdom Sound.” Marvin and his son Marvin Jr. have attended many FCA camps and bring an energy to the camp that the kids thrive off of and the coaches enjoy.

Coach’s Perspective

Local High School Coach

“I began coaching because I love kids and want to see them improve not only on the field but also in life. This is what FCA is all about…helping athletes and coaches grow in sport and in faith.”

Parent’s Perspective

Parent of Past Camper

“FCA has provided an athletic environment for my son to feel included and to experience joy in sport. I am grateful for my son’s involvement and hope other families take advantage of this great experience in our community”

Football Focus

Through stations and small group work, our coaching staff will concentrate on a detailed progression of drills with the goal of improving each player’s skills. Additionally, staff will provide campers with strategies that can be implemented for ongoing skill improvement.

Instruction will be detailed and will concentrate on the fundamentals, while providing position-specific stations. Each player will have an opportunity to learn the complete game of football both offensively and defensively. Practice plans will be available after camp, upon request, for players to take with them and practice on their own.

“One” 2017 Camp Theme

Each year we incorporate a theme on and off the field during camp. This year our theme is “ONE” based on Philippians 1:27. “Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News”.

Faith Focus

Every athlete will be provided the opportunity to explore or grow in their Christian faith. Our camp guest speakers and small group Bible studies will focus on humility, truth and faith.

Our History

Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has challenged athletes and coaches to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Camps are a time of “inspiration and perspiration” for athletes and coaches who want to reach their potential through comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training.

Camp Tuition

This includes: FCA T-shirt, FCA Bible, professional-level sports instruction, and an unforgettable experience for each athlete.

Shaun Alexander

Former NFL Running Back, 2005 NFL MVP

“FCA Camp [in 1997] significantly altered my life… That camp was the beginning of my learning the meaning of accountability…I believe in FCA and what they want to accomplish.”

Trent Dilfer

ESPN Analyst, Former NFL QB and Super Bowl Champion

“When I got to FCA Camp in 1992, I knew all the terminology of the Christian lifestyle. My first experience with Christianity was in fourth grade at Camp Hammer, and Neil Steinhauer as the special speaker. But not until I saw college athletes living a Christian lifestyle at FCA Camp did I realize that I was living a double lifestyle, and I rededicated my life to Christ right before camp began…. I truly believe God has chosen to use FCA in a powerful way to reach athletes and coaches.”
